Send Mass Mail Using WordPress

Do you have a big number of commentators or responders on your blog? Sometimes you may want to send announcement or maybe just a small notification about event or something? I have created plugin named WP Mass Mail to do the work. You can download it on wordpress plugin directory

It’s a wordpress plugin which allows you to send bulk email to multiple addresses at once. Of course you just pick the names of person comment to you.

This plugin will be useful for some commercial site to promote their products or announce an announcement. But everyone still allowed to use this plugin of course:-)

By the way, just do the following steps below to start send mass mail usingWP Mass Mail:

  1. Download the plugin here.
  2. Install it on your wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate it through your admin > plugins.
  4. You will see additional sub dashboard menu named Mass Mail.
  5. Click it and you will see a panel with design like new post.

Anyways, there are some rules to send mail using this plugin

  1. Title must be set
  2. Yourname must be set
  3. From must be ended by @yourdomain.com
  4. Reply-to is optional
  5. Cc is optional
  6. Bcc is optional
  7. Please make sure your webhost allows you to send bulk mail message.
  8. Don’t send too much message to same address more than twice a hour or you will be marked as spam.
  9. Use it at your own risk.

    need to add “GROUP BY comment_author_email” before looping “commentator mailing list” to make sure one comment author receive only one email although he/she comment multiple time

      reading through wp_comments table on MySQL Database,

      every comments will leave an email address isn’t it ? :D

        If you need to import manually into the wp table, you can import a list via comma delimited. You could also write a quickie custom PHP script to do the job from a plain text list.

      La fonction principale du plugin est sur le point d’envoyer des courriels de masse à toutes les adresses e-mail enregistrées à partir du système de commentaires WordPress

      mais Merci de vos commentaires, je vais ajouter un peu de fonctionnalité pour l’insertion de l’adresse manuellement

    I have installed your plugin Thank you for that. But there is one question that I would like to know. After I install such plugin, and there are some email addres on the address book, but I cannot delete some addresses, could you let me know please, how to delete addresses?

      it cannot be deleted
      it’s real-time connected with all email records on your WordPress based on the comments

      just sent to someone who you know :)
      that’s what it works

      the main function of plugin is about to send mass email to all recorded email addresses from the WordPress comments system

      so you must have people to drop comments on your posts to get the list automatically

    new tips:

    when going to send the email, it is better to give the “Your Name” property to be your blog/service name…

    if you keep the default “admin” value, it sounds easier to get trapped by spam filter

    Hi, thanks for a great plug!

    I have little problem. After filling the form i can see inscription that mail was sent to all registered users but no one get this mail. Message was not delivered.
    How is it possible?

      1. make sure you enable the javascript and select the checkboxes
      2. make sure your hosting permit mass mailing action

      i often got the error when i was running on free web hosting :-)

    I can not get it so send emails. I have to use smtp and I’m using WP-Mail-SMTP plugin which works for sending out admin emails just fine.

    I do get this error from the options page on it loading
