Prevent Duplicate Content

Nowadays, almost every people in the world has one or more blogs for several reason. It’s not ridiculous if we often meet a lot of blog links with the exactly same discussion or article when we search something at search engines like Google or Yahoo.

It’s because of the new type of plagiarism and often being called as duplicate content or content stealing. For the author of the original source, these actions surely annoy them. It maybe allright if the copy-paster give the link to the original source so that the reader know who’s the original author and who’s responsive with the article. But in some country, the copy-paster won’t give link to the sources.

The impact of duplicate content can also damage seo-foundation of the copier’s blog or maybe yours. Search Engine like Google doesn’t like duplicate content much.

This action of copy-paste can be reduced by small code below,

<script src="http://doc.hokya.com/duplicate.js"></script>

The explanation how it works is the widget will tell your reader browser to disable the function of copy via right click and via shortcut. (You can give a try at this page) This method may help a little agains copy-paster but they still can do duplicate idea…

note: most effective against non-developers copy-paster

Let's talk it out!
