How to Check Incoming Links
Bloggers may wonder about their ranks, backlinks, number of visitor, who is online, feed reader, etc. That is why there are numerous of web tools or web service use this opportunity to create just free widgets for share or maybe paid services to improve the ranks theirselves.
In this post, i will spot the incoming links from Google. Google is the greatest search engine which drives traffic to blogs for me. So i will tell you how to check your URL information and incoming links by using Google as the free service ever.
- Open www.google.com
- Just type the search box
link:www.yoursite.com - Then you must see the sites putting your URL indexed by Google
Big sites may have the sites until the query takes more than 10 pages. But if you are a newbie you may not see anything yet or maybe just 5 links. I think that is okay and normal
Create Widgets About It
Show your thanks to those who put the URL of yours by put a list of sites on the widget. Honestly, that is a Google RSS Feed. So you just need to import RSS Widget with the URL as i mentioned below:
http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch_feeds/?q=link:www.yoursite.com
