Easy Icon Plugin for Wordpress

Easy Icon is my first wordpress plugin that i have made. You may think it kinda silly and buggy but believe me: I have tested it and make it really easy-to-use for anyone.

Why can i tell that it is easy to use whereas it is the first plugin of me? Because the plugin works pretty simple but great. It only set images as your blog’s icon.

Why do i need this plugin ? Because with this plugin, you just don’t need to manually edit template’s php files just to set out the icon every time you change theme or change icon. You even don’t need to put <?php?> container on template, the plugins itself will do it for you :-)

Anyways, you can select the icon on option>easy icon on your own but i divide it on two ways

  1. Browse Media Library

This will help you choose the icons and supported format on your media library files

  2. Manually Input URL

This option let you manually choose your desired icon and type its URL

I hope it will help visitor recognize and remember your site :-)

Let's talk it out!

You’ll have to delete your WP Super Cache files.

I’ve used your plugin for a while, it was great. but since I went to the http://wp.digitalnature.eu/mystique/ Mystique theme it stopped working and just displays the default WP icon. I don’t use WP Super Cache and I tried deleting browser cache.

      hello rafal

it looks like the default theme already provide the function for changing the favicon

as result, when Easy Icon Plugin determine the new favicon, the theme’s function overwrite it afterward

my suggestion: check the built in theme’s option page on the Theme Tab

What is in your mind ?
