Import BlogCatalog’s Avatar into WordPress

Hey there, i recently checked BlogCatalog’s Developer Section and found this way. Maybe it is not too hot to talk about but now, with BlogCatalog’s API, let me introduce my new plugin: BlogCatalog Avatar.
Just like the name, it loads BlogCatalog’s avatar image next to every of your comments. In other words, it replaces the default Gravatar from WordPress. BlogCatalog’s users are more than billions. I am pretty sure that your blogger friends will have one or maybe more account on the BlogCatalog.
How does it work? Just for information, the API itself load images depending on email address. It will be fetch from your commentator’s email address after encoded with md5 format. If he/she does not have one, the image will be default shadow image. The example API code is:
<img src="http://www.blogcatalog.com/avatar/[md5_email]" />
