Alexa Trick: Increase Alexa Rank by Adding Subdomains
Hello, i found some tricky way or tips about how to increase AlexaRank of your main domain. As you can read on the title, this method need subdomains. Maybe it is a bug for Alexa but it works on both default Alexa widget and Alexa API.
Honestly, i created subdomains for better categorize reason, but when i check my Alexa Rank, they have the same Alexa Ranks. Moreover, my old-but-quiet site have same Alexa Rank as the crowded one.
How can it be ?
I don’t know why but it seems Alexa ranks websites due to their Top Level Domain
What should I do ?
It needs no extra web skill. Like I said before, the trick is about adding subdomains. So, you don’t need and better not to create new blog on new domains just for the better categorization. If you want better Alexa Rank, it is better to put your blogs only on one Top Level Domain (TLD). The example of mine is :
- Mr.Hokya.com for English content blog
- Mas.Hokya.com for Indonesian content blog
- Iklan.Hokya.com for Indonesian free ads submission
- Chord.Hokya.com for guitar chord of my favorite songs
Those blogs run on different address but still in one domain, hokya.com . That’s the demonstration. You can try it on your own and choose the best way for you.

mas doyok
http://www.co.cc
pasti bagus ya
tapi anehnya kok gak tembus top rank alexa ya
julian
because co.cc is already domain name from .cc
nama-anda.co.cc is the subdomain of co.cc
so Alexa don’t make it top rank
