I know that you may already notice and understand the advantages of using FeedBurner as your feed clients. In this article, i just want to persuade the FeedBurner users who still have no idea on its benefit.
FeedBurner is a feed client. It fetches your feed and allow you to distribute the fetched feed (like http://feeds.feedburner.com/yoursite). What is the good thing of using FeedBurner feed instead of your default feed? That was my question before i joined up the FeedBurner.
In the FeedBurner’s feed, the feed is monitored well and you can know the number or quantity of item viewer or subscriber through one central FeedBurner Dashboard. Anyways, they also provide you with Publication Service which allows you to attract visitor subscribing by email delivery.
Some of the advantages:
- Fetch feed almost in real time
- You can keep track and monitor the growth of your popularity
- You can put a signature to prevent from AutoBlogging and Content Theft from Feed
- There are a lot of Publicize Service like Email Subscription etc which will help you much gaining a lot of subscribers.
- Since it has been acquired by Google, you can display your own Google Adsense code inside it.
To start changing your default feed with FeedBurner’s, you can use plugins for some CMS or manually edit HTML which will surely work on all kind of platforms. The replacement is like below:
